Moriage Decorated Hand Painted Japanese Jug 1900

Art Nouveau Raised Moriage Decorated Hand Painted Japanese Jug c.a 1900 A very beautiful porcelain Vintage Raised Moriage Decorated Hand Painted Japanese Creamer with gold trims and raised enamell beads of green,blue, wine red, red and white. It measures 4.5” in height , 4” from spout to hamdle and 2.25” base. In perfect condition save two small paint pellings at the top where the handle joins the vase over the middle gold circle and under the top gold rim (see 5th photo). Weight 165 grams. The base is marked "Foreign". Porcelain was stamped "Foreign" to comply with the USA Mc Kinley Act 1890 which required imports to be marked with their country of origin between 1893-1923. Countries such as Japan used "Foreign" (A1)
