Antique Japanese bowls

2 very detailed Japanese 19th century Meiji period bowls with lids. The image is called"A thousand faces" with various images of people playing games,talking and making music. Inside of the bowls are blue and white with a lotus design. The bottom has a red/orange edge on which a floral pattern has been scratched using a special technique. Both bowls and lids have a makers mark and are both in excellent condition Dimensions are 12 to 13 cm high with lids and diameter of 10cm Ideal for the collector Price is for the pair and postage is extra
