Skovby #53 dining chair with a design in tubular steel that dates back to the Bauhaus school of the mid-twenties. The construction of the Skovby #53 dining chair frame gives a slightly bouncy movement when you sit on it. This is the first cantilever dining chair made by Skovby and seat and back are identical with the #58 dining chair. Therefore the Skovby #53 dining chair has the same seating comfort.
