This chain hoist from Unicraft with a 300 kg lifting capacity and a 3.0m lift height is a step up from a wire rope hoist. Designed for light to medium duty work rate it has the advantage of the chain returning point being constant under the suspension hook. Thus allowing it to be hung from a beam clamp or beam roller trolley without any stabilization. The wired remote control cable is 1.6m, The power cable is 300mm and fitted with a 13 amp plug. An extension lead will be required. A limit switch turns off the hoist at chain full retraction to prevent motor damage.
