1940s WW2 hard Canvas covered case *DELIVERY AVAIL

Property of a gentlemen who served in WW2 and available on behalf of the vendor (His Daughter), We can convey the history to the purchaser. Made by “Flaxile” U.K, and covered in canvas overall with locks present to the front flanked by leather corners on all sides, Also has the addition of the leather strap bound around the case which is often missing, the leather carry handle is also intact, (again usually one or the other is often missing, thankfully both are still with the case intact) this case has travelled a distance as we know the owner was in Egypt and just about every other corner of the globe whilst serving in WW2, bears the usual and typical PADDINGTON Great Western Railway London label that I’ve seen on so many cases over the years. The family of this case resided in Dorset U.K for years prior to Wexford, Ireland. Also faintly bears the WANTED ON VOYAGE LABEL, again typical and a label that we’ve seen before.
