Description
Interesting piece of history.Late Victorian period Sam Browne belt and Webley revolver holster and leather bound flask. The holster is signed Major Frederick Coore Mein, Shropshire light infantry who died in 1906.Research on the national archives could find out more about this particular officer. The holster came from a large country house in Offaly with a lot of military connections where it sat for a long. The holster, belt and flask are in completely original condition. The holster still has the black outline marks of the revolver in the leather. This is a rare piece to be signed by an Officer.May suit a collector. Can post at €15 registered insured post. Thanks
