Antique Biedermeier Chest of Drawers

Stunning, rare Biedermeier chest of drawers. First half of the 19th century. German / Austrian origin. Heavy brass handles added later. Beautiful rich mahogany veneer. Three drawers, the middle one being the deepest (very unusual form). Rounded corners. Raised on turned legs to the front and bracket feet to The rear. W37” X H34” X D18.5” W94cm X H87cm X D47cm. Some minor marks and scratches commensurate with age and wear. This is a very rare find. We have one only, there are no others currently advertised for sale in Ireland.
