vintage Powell & Hanmer (P&H) "Panther" carbide cycle lamp manufactured in Birmingham, from the early 1900’s and in great condition. No cracks or chips in the glass lenses. A great display item or for fitting on a vintage bicycle. Can post countrywide “Water from an upper compartment drips onto calcium carbide in a lower compartment, producing acetylene gas that is then ignited to create a flame. “
