Antique Rare Large Taxidermy Hawksbill Sea Turtle

Very rare and interesting late 19th Century stuffed Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata). The hawksbill sea turtle is a sea turtle belonging to the family Cheloniidae.This species is now critically endangered.Can be found in Pacific more specifically in the Bermuda region.Quite large in size.On a fantastic original bamboo easel frame stand which is a fantastic piece , a real eye catching piece.Has the most fantastic shell colour and texture.Glass inset eyes.This example was over 50 years old judging by its size.Overall in great condition for the age.Very rare that such large examples of these come up for sale in Ireland or the Uk.Dimensions are 88cmx65cm.More photos available.Can deliver anywhere in Ireland.Thanks
