Rare 1860s Victorian Ironstone Sauce Tureen & Lid

An early Victorian tureen manufacturered by Liddle, Elliot & Son (Dale Hall Works, Burslem, Staffordshire, England) circa 1862–1870. A rare makers mark (given their very short 8-year production window) fully stamped on the base with the "Grecian Border" ribbon mark, hand-painted pattern number 9060, and an impressed potter's factory mark. Excellent antique condition for its age. No chips, cracks, or structural damage. Features beautiful, authentic fine crazing and minor age-related organic staining on the underside of the base, adding true historical character.A gorgeous display piece for a dresser, sideboard, or a fantastic addition for a Victorian transferware collector.
