Spirit Of St Louis Music Center / Boom Box. 1990s

For those of you with a liking of historical flight or retro looking items, i am offering this Spirit Of St Louis Music Center / Boom Box for sale. Although it needs just three jobs doing on it, it's in excellent condition considering it's around 30 years old. It was to commemorate the first solo flight from New York to Paris in 1927 by Charles Lindbergh. The unit has been made in such a way, that gives that old school look of the day by using similar looking materials, knobs and dials. Although in very nice condition, it has three faults that need rectifying to make it 100%. Those jobs are, the right speaker which for some reason has no sound. Note that headphones work perfectly. The second fix required is a small repair to the back right upper corner. Damaged in transit. And the main problem, is to rectify the most common fault on these units which is the tape deck toggle switch operation. The radio works, as does the CD player, but the tape deck toggles need repair. Im shocked at how good the CD player sounds through headphones for a unit of this age. If nothing else, the unit looks very impressive and old school. Just needs a handy person with a bit of love to put it right. On eBay in the States, prices can range from around $100-$350 depending on condition. I would accept 65.00 Euros.
