Overview
Description
I’m selling my trusty Mavic Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST wheels. They’re brilliant, smooth-rolling workhorses that have never let me down! For me, the 35 mm profile turned out to be the perfect balance. They’re light enough to tackle hills with ease, maintain speed brilliantly on straights, and most importantly - the bike doesn’t get blown about at all in strong crosswinds. And thanks to the 21 mm internal width, the tyres sit perfectly, absorbing vibrations from rough tarmac brilliantly. The wheelset is in good, battle-ready condition. The wheels have seen plenty of use, so there are minor cosmetic scuffs on the carbon (I’ve tried to show these as clearly as possible in the photos). There are no serious scratches, dents or cracks. The hubs spin smoothly and without any issues, but if you’re a perfectionist, you might want to top up the grease before the active season begins to ensure everything is in perfect working order. I’m not removing the old tubeless tyres (700x28c) and am leaving them on the rims solely as an extra ‘safety cushion’ for safe transport. It’s best to replace them with fresh tyres straight away before setting off. Technical details: Hubs: compatible with SHIMANO 11/12-speed cassettes Axles: 100x12 mm front / 142x12 mm rear (Thru-Axle) Brakes: Disc (Center Lock) Profile: height 35 mm / internal width 21 mm Tyre: Clincher / Tubeless Ready (proprietary UST system)
