Braided Polyester lines PES HT with Fluo-Ultra Yarn Additional is an ideal mooring rope. Available size - 8mm, 10mm, 12mm ➡️ Made in EU / Quality matters ⬅️ It has a braided Nylon core, providing strength and stretch, and a braided in high tenacity Polyester yarn HT cover for excellent abrasion resistance. As a mooring line it intentionally has approximatly 10% stretch Polyester lines as opposed to polypropylene are heavier than water Specific gravity of 1.38 which means it will not float. Polyester has no strength loss when wet, it is flexible and has good abrasion resistance. Polyester fibres also have good resistance to chemicals and have a melting point of 295°C.
