10m x 6m Barge Deck Hopper Bin 100T payload

This Hopper Bin is supplied in two halves to form a deck-mounted Barge Hopper Bin measuring 9m x 6m x 1.2m tall and has been extensively used to hold approx. 100T of dredge material, scour material or rock armour. The base frame and side walls are fully sheeted with sheet piles and timber boarding with steel plates. We have used long reach excavators to both load material into the Hopper Bin and dig back out it for onshore retrieval of material. The Hopper bin sections each weigh 15T and are generally crane lifted onto the deck of the Barge and connected with intermittently-welded plates – and similarly intermittent plate-welding is used to secure the Hopper bin to the deck of a Barge.
