This new profile can be installed in 2 distinctive ways, Interlaced (staggered) and linear. Design Forma Slate 370 has been designed to be installed in a way that controls the flow of water down the roof and prevents water from leaking through the junctions between the tiles. The new slate panel has been designed with 4 water channels on the left edge which act like 4 gutters to prevent the effects of capillary action across the tile. We now have not 1 or 2, but 4 consecutive barriers against water ingress.
