Description
If you’re already an accredited fibreglass roof installer, this course is just for you. We’re now offering supplementary training on our flexible overlay systems, TriRoof FLEX and TriRoof HPX. What sets these systems apart is that they can be used to overlay existing roofs, reducing time, waste, and labour costs. This also minimises disruption to the building and occupants inside, making them the ideal solution for both residential and commercial projects alike. FLEX is a flexible fibreglass system that cures to a hard, yet flexible finish. It therefore exhibits the same toughness you can expect from traditional fibreglass while being more forgiving when it comes to thermal expansion and movement caused by settling. HPX is a moisture-cured system that can be applied to damp surfaces and provides immediate protection against water ingress once applied. It's extremely flexible and will bond to a wide variety of substrates. Upon completion, candidates will be able to register both systems for up to a 20-year guarantee. This add-on course is specifically geared towards contractors who have previously completed fibreglass roofing training, and proof of your prior accreditation is necessary to enroll. Given that participants will have adequate experience in the process of fibreglass lay-up (i.e. laminating, detailing trims, bandaging, etc.), this course is conducted in a demonstration format, with no practical tasks required. As such, training typically takes about 2 – 2.5 hours to complete. Start time is 13:30 sharp.
