Takes 2 AA batteries ( works ok with rechargeables like IKEA Ladda or eneloops). 2 GB XD card (hard to find, going~€40, good for 819 images in full resolution) included. Fantastic digicam with optical viewfinder, super filmic images - early film simulations: Chrome, Standard, B&W- very natural and rich colours, close to analogue film look.
