Kampa Hayling 4 Air Classic Pro, Polycotton Tent

NB; Please note the video link refers to a polyester tent. The tent for sale is a higher spec Polycotton Version which is a more durable fabric with a longer life expectancy. Everything else is the same as in the video. Regrettably, I am selling this tent because it does not attach to the VW Camper that I converted last year. Unfortunately, there is no available attachment for the side opening of the tent to the camper. This tent was bought in June 2019 just after Dometic acquired Kampa. Fortunately, I obtained the original Kampa version from O Meara Camping, who had remaining stock from the previous year. Dometic subsequently produced a lower-quality tent to reduce costs. Changes included the removal of internal pockets in the living area, a reduction in the number of fly mesh screens, decreased zip quality, and reduced ceiling height in the bedrooms. Additionally, storm pegs and ground sheets, which were originally included by Kampa, are now sold separately by Dometic. My disappointment with the newer Dometic/Kampa version arose when I sought to purchase a comparable quality tent that would attach to my VW van last year. Only realising the difference in quality when I pitched it up on my first outing with the camper and tent. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and a busy lifestyle, this tent has only been used five times—twice for week-long trips and three times for long weekend trips. It is a high-quality product in great condition and is expected to provide years of reliable service. The vestibule and carpet, which were additional purchases, are included in the price. Can be seen erected for inspection.
