I bought a car from this garage believing it was a fantastic buy low mileage, great condition and stated to be fully serviced. Within a very short time of bringing the car onto the motorway, the engine warning light came on. I returned to the garage the next day and was told after diagnostics that it was fine and did not need to be brought back. When I drove it on the motorway again the very same day, the engine light came back on and this time the brake fluid warning light also appeared. When I checked under the bonnet, the brake fluid tank was empty. For a vehicle described as fully serviced and in good condition, this was extremely concerning. The car then remained in the garage for several days. Given how recently it had been purchased and the issues involved, this did not sit right with me. I expressed my dissatisfaction in writing and was later told they would prefer to issue a full refund rather than continue dealing with the matter. When collecting the vehicle, I dealt with the owner. I found his manner dismissive and unprofessional, which made an already stressful situation worse. After collecting the car again, the engine warning light returned on the motorway. I requested the agreed refund, which required further follow-up before being processed. The day after my refund was completed, I noticed the vehicle was re-advertised at a higher price. Overall, this experience was stressful, time-consuming and extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this garage to proceed with caution.
