2007 BMW 316i petrol saloon Timing chain needs to be done. Had it looked at by a BMW technician. I was having a rattle sound when starting up so I put in a new timing chain tensioner in which I was told would sort it (on Paddy's day) but since then it won't start. Looks like it has jumped a link and the timing is out .therefore I'm advised the timing chain needs to be done.hense the price 600. Have this car 8 years never gave me any bother up until now. Serviced regularly. NCT till may
