BMW 5 Series 520d M Sport Touring

Colm Quinn BMW Athlone. I ordered a new 520i in November 2024 and picked it up last week, 14-02-2025. I've had a great experience in dealing with Colm Quinn in Athlone and in particular Robert McGrath, Sales Manager. Robert is a pleasure to deal with, in particular, Robert makes sure that the vehicle you are interested in suits your needs and allows you make informed decisions rather than just pushing for a sale. In my years of buying various model cars from various notable dealers Robert stands head and shoulders above them all. Keep up the good work Colm Quinn and Robert, I'll be back again. Rob McGrath at Colm Quinn was exceptional to deal with. I've never received the same level of care in Dublin since my first purchase in 1995. Regrettably, 11 months after purchasing my X5 M50d from Colm Quinn Athlone I have been stunned by how little care and attention I’ve received. Unreplied to messages and phone calls for 6 weeks and eventually a request to do a 6 hour round trip from Dublin to assess the fault rather than order in part and repair while there. Then a second trip to fit the replacement part if required. I was also told that the fault would most likely not be covered under warranty and to say that when I brought the car in and to see what could be done for me. Visited a BMW dealer in Dublin today. Showed them the pic of the fault on my phone and from his desk the service advisor ordered a new part under warranty without even going to see the car in the carpark! The drama over nothing from Colm Quinn BMW has caused me severe stress. I’m absolutely stunned at their nonchalance towards their customers and will never visit their dealership again.

Very poor customer service on parts. Stopped by for a repair quote, was standing around for a good while to be told they were too busy, then I was asked to email over pictures, followed up with email and two phone calls and after three weeks of waiting was eventually told a minor cosmetic scratch couldn't be estimated without inspection with no availability until July. This should have just been communicated from day one.
