The exciting new BYD ATTO 2 Super Hybrid has arrived at BYD West Dublin, with a vehicle currently on display in our showroom for customers to see up close. It gives customers a great opportunity to see the style, proportions and interior of the new ATTO 2 up close, while a range of alternative exterior and interior combinations are available. The ATTO 2 Super Hybrid brings BYD’s Super DM-i plug-in hybrid technology into a compact SUV designed for modern everyday driving. It combines electric driving capability with the reassurance of petrol-powered range, giving you the ability to drive electrically when convenient while retaining the flexibility required for longer journeys around Ireland. ATTO 2 SUPER HYBRID – ACTIVE & BOOST The Irish-market range currently includes Active and Boost versions. The Boost is the higher-performance specification, featuring an 18.0kWh BYD Blade Battery, 212PS / 156kW system power, front-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0–100km/h in just 7.5 seconds, offers up to 90km of WLTP pure-electric range and an impressive 1,000km combined WLTP range. The Boost also benefits from a 6.6kW AC onboard charger and 3.3kW V2L capability. The entry Active uses a 7.8kWh Blade Battery and produces 166PS / 122kW, with up to 40km of pure-electric WLTP range and a combined WLTP range of up to 930km. For Irish drivers, the Boost is particularly interesting because it combines the practicality of a compact SUV with genuinely strong performance and the ability to complete many everyday journeys using electric power. BOOST SPECIFICATION The ATTO 2 Boost is exceptionally well equipped, featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof with electrically adjustable sunshade, aluminium roof rails, privacy glass, LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. It also gets electrically folding and heated exterior mirrors and rain-sensing wipers. Inside, the Boost features vegan leather upholstery, heated front seats, six-way electric driver's seat adjustment, a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting and a practical 40:60 split-folding rear seat arrangement. The cabin is centred around a 12.8-inch touchscreen, accompanied by an 8.8-inch TFT digital instrument display, DAB+ and FM radio, six-speaker audio, Google built-in, Google Maps navigation, AI voice assistance, onboard 4G connectivity and BYD App cloud services. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included, alongside 50W wireless smartphone charging. Parking and safety technology is another major strength of the Boost. The specification includes front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree panoramic camera, Driver Monitoring System, Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Speed Limit Control, Lane Departure Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Door Opening Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Automatic Emergency Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Rear Cross Traffic Brake. The Boost also features NFC keyless entry, BYD Digital Key, keyless entry and keyless start, multiple driving modes including Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow, plus the ability to use the vehicle as a mobile power source through Vehicle-to-Load (V2L). Practicality remains a major part of the ATTO 2's appeal, with a useful 425-litre boot expanding to 1,335 litres with the rear seats folded. At just over 4.3 metres long, it offers SUV-style practicality while remaining compact and easy to manoeuvre in urban environments.
