First day in the garage and a big welcome from everyone. I was unsure of what I needed and consequently had a few test drives under the guidance of Alan Furlong. A patient, knowledgable man who gave clear explanations for all I didn’t understand and consequently did the deal for Sealion 7 Excellence. Delivery as promised and all arrangements in place as expected. I am thoroughly enjoying my new car and Alan has been able to clarify a few things I couldn’t get my head around. I bought a 2 year old car from BYD south Dublin last year. It was not a BYD make. It’s fabulous and I love it. I bought it from Gavin Cousins. The whole process from start to finish was exceptional and I was never made feel inferior regarding the 10 year old car I was trading in 😉 11 months later I had an issue which was covered under manufacturers warranty. I dealt with the sales manager Alan Furlong this time- he took the car back, investigated the issue and arranged for a Hyundai main dealer to repair it. As it was over Christmas he loaned me a beautiful car so I wouldn’t be stuck. He has seen the issue through until completion and I felt comfortable contacting him recently when I damaged the car myself 🙈 and was looking for repair advise. He has gone above and beyond in terms of after sales service. Completely professional and helpful at every turn. I could not recommend this dealership enough. A great place with great salespeople. They have extensive knowledge of the cars they sell, and there's no pressure or other "you have to buy now because you won't be able to buy later" etc. Tactics like other car dealerships do. I'm happy with my new Xpeng car and with the salesperson, Gavin Cousins. Easy contact with the salesperson, smooth communication, and extensive knowledge. Keep up the good work, Gavin.
