Very positive experience from Kearys. Ronan was very welcoming and helpful answered all my questions and gave me the car I exactly wanted for a really great price with the 1 year warranty couldn’t recommend them anymore.

My experience with CarStore was, without a doubt, the worst I have ever had when buying a car.

On March 24, I visited the dealership and found a Mercedes B180 that appeared to be in great condition. I paid a deposit after being told the car would be ready for collection within one week.

When I returned on the agreed date, I immediately ran into issues. The salesperson who handled my purchase was off that day, and no one else could give me a clear update. When I checked the car myself, I found an NCT failure report inside it showing problems with the OBD system and engine torque, which are serious issues.

I had to wait until the following Wednesday, already past the promised delivery date, to speak with the salesperson. To make matters worse, the car had been registered incorrectly. It was listed as a 2022 vehicle when in fact it was a 2017 model. This was an obvious and serious mistake. I requested that the registration be corrected so I could arrange insurance properly, and this only happened after significant effort on my part.

I was then promised delivery again one week later, meaning two weeks had passed since I paid the deposit, with a clear delay.

After repeatedly insisting, I was finally sent an invoice stating that the issues had been fixed. However, the NCT report included additional faults such as water ingress in a rear light and misaligned headlights. Most concerning was the OBD issue, which is a serious fault for a Mercedes B180. The invoice itself indicated that the error had simply been cleared rather than properly repaired, so the car could pass the NCT.

Based on the documentation I received, it appeared that the issue had not been properly repaired, but instead cleared to allow the car to pass the NCT. I found this extremely concerning.

Additionally, the salesperson also misrepresented key features of the car. I was told it was a premium model with heated seats, which turned out to be untrue. I was also promised that CarPlay would be installed, but later informed that it was not possible. The version that was eventually installed was of very poor quality, with low resolution and clearly not up to standard.

As a result, I decided not to proceed with the purchase. I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded to buy another car in another store.

I strongly do not recommend this dealership. Avoid the stress and do not buy a car from here.
