Ford S-Max 2013 157,000 Miles 2.0 Diesel, 140bhp, Automatic The car is AUTOMATIC not manual. READ AD BEFORE CALLING/MESSAGING “Transmission Limited Function” Warning light on dash. Car is selecting R,1,2&3 gears only, no 4,5,6th gears. “Fork Selector C Stuck” warning code. This was our main family car for the last 5 years, we had the automatic gearbox reconditioned last summer, 2025. This included new clutches, and a new mechatronic unit etc. The car ran fine for 6 months, about 9,000 miles until we got the “Transmission Limited Function” Warning light on dash and no 4th,5th, and 6th gears. Gearbox parts now out of warranty. We have replaced the car rather than trying to have it fixed again. The car runs and drives, but unless you want to drive home slowly in 3rd gear it will need to be trailered away. Good points: Valid NCT November 2026 Taxed until September Very reliable until the gearbox problem last year. Good tyres 7 seats Just serviced, about 900 miles ago. 2 Keys Bad Points: Gearbox error, as mentioned. A few dents and scrapes on the body. See pictures. AC doesn’t work. Needs a vacuum inside
