Honda Civic 2007

Bought this car in May 2025 for €1,900 as I needed a run-around to tide me over for a year. It had just passed its NCT at the time, and I got the year out of it with no trouble. When I put it through the NCT again, it failed on a list of items. The garage quoted €1,650 to get it through the NCT, plus approximately another €2,000 for additional work they recommended. I had the car serviced about six weeks ago while deciding whether to go ahead with the repairs, but I’ve since decided I’m not prepared to put that money into it. All four tyres have also been replaced recently. It’s been a grand car for me, but it does need work. Could be a good option for someone who knows their way around cars and can do the repairs themselves, or someone looking to use it for parts.
