We recently traded in our i30 Fastback for a Santa Fe at Connolly’s Hyundai Galway and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I had a very pleasant experience buying my new electric car. Right from the first test drive the sales person, David was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. By the time we came back from the test drive he had paperwork ready, had looked into the grant for disabled drivers and could show me exactly how much the car would cost me in the end. He made the whole process easy and stress-free. He even got the small modification I needed done, tax sorted - all I had to do was pick up the car. The only slight difficulty I experienced was in obtaining the invoice after I had paid and collected the car. I needed the invoice to finish the grant application (which David had offered to do himself too but I chose to apply directly). I had to call a few times, and couldn't just speak to someone in accounts to be emailed the invoice which was a bit frustrating. However, staff were always really friendly and I got there in the end.

I would strongly & only recommend anyone looking to purchase a car to go to Connolly's Hyundai in Galway. From the moment we went into their garage and met with Declan to discuss what we were looking for, he was so lovely to deal with, professional, friendly, forthcoming with information and guidance but without being in any way pushy for us to make a decision. It was totally up to us but he was ready to answer any questions we had. He really could not do enough for us both then and since. In addition, I recently went back up to Galway from Limerick for my car's first service and Shane in their service depot was again so lovely, efficient, professional and friendly to deal with. After the service, his colleague Paul came with me to my car and showed me how to resolve a query I had mentioned. I would say without hesitate that ALL of the staff in Connolly's Hyundai Galway are just amazing to deal with and I already have, and definitely would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to buy a car - for us it was totally worth the journey to Galway to get our car!
