The 2026 Kia Sorento PHEV combines petrol power with advanced electric technology to deliver efficiency without sacrificing performance. Powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an electric motor and a 14 kWh battery, it produces up to about 261–268 horsepower with smooth all-wheel-drive capability. The plug-in hybrid system allows up to roughly 55–68 km of electric-only driving for daily trips, while the petrol engine provides extended range and flexibility for longer journeys. With seating for up to seven, modern technology, and impressive fuel economy of around 1.6 L/100 km in combined use, the Sorento PHEV is a practical and eco-friendly family SUV built for comfort, versatility, and reduced emissions.
