Land Rover Range Rover Velar 2.0 i4 PHEV S Special

Do NOT buy a car from them. I've bought two cars from them and both were riddled with mechanical and electrical problems and that's only the beginning. Regardless of how bad a problem is (say the car isn't drivable) they won't even take a look at it for weeks to months at a time, even just a 10 minute look to tell you what the problem is. THEN, during that waiting period, you'll experience several delays and they won't keep in touch or call to let you know what the delay is or how long they expect it to take or even just to call and say they don't have an update, they'll just keep you in the dark for weeks and months at a time. THEN, when all else fails and you need to get rid of the car just so that you can buy another form of transportation, they'll offer you 1/3 the value of the car just to give you one last punch to the guy on your way out the door. It's seriously the worst dealership I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Terrible service. Here's how a legit phone conversation went that I had with them yesterday: joe duffy: "good afternoon, I see you bought a car from us and we just want to be sure you're satisfied with it." me: "well, not really, it's been in and out of the shop and undrivable more days than it's been drivable this year." joe duffy: "is it drivable now?" Me: "yes" Joe Duffy: "okay so you're more than happy with it now, right?" I mean, come on!!

Rang about getting my car checked after a fault occurred with its charging capability. The car has 50,000km on it and is still under manufacturer warranty. The car was purchased from Joe Duffy Swords, the car was serviced by Joe Duffy Swords. When I called the service dept, they told me "we can't take the car" "we're too busy".... Not, sorry we are very busy it could be 1 month or 2 months etc. Straight out "No we are not taking it". I was told to ring around elsewhere, I had rang around elsewhere at this point, Conlans Jaguar, Spirit Jaguar, Jaguar Waterford. No one will look at it, I still have no appointment and a Jaguar car which will not charge. Jaguar Ireland had told me that Joe Duffy Swords would be my best bet! Best bet, and they will not even look at it. This is comical service from a "Luxury Brand". And I would be very careful before I purchase a car from any Jaguar/LR dealer.

Extremely disappointed with the service department here. Jaguar assist brought my Jaguar ipace in for a covered warranty repair on a Gear box error message on Feb 26th 2026. I was treated as if my issue didn't warrant any of the service departments time or effort as I had to initiate all contact to try and get an update on my issue and what was being done to resolve it. There was a lack of knowledge on the warranty status leading to me having to confirm with jaguar. was still in place. Despite having all my concerns in writing via email and asking for a courtesy loan car several times ( I was referred back to jaguar assist who provide only 3 days of cover). Finally I tried to engage with Jaguar Ireland and their representative Peter did contact the JD Jaguar Service manager who assured him my car would be prioitised from April 6th. A follow up enquiry to him and Jaguar Ireland remains unanswered at the time of posting. When I finally got the car back on April 15th 50 days had elapsed from when JD Jaguar took receipt of the car. In my view the Garage had the opportunity to alleviate my situation by providing a courtesy car and this was made worse as this was the case on my previous warranty repair in January 2025. The level of customer service has fallen well below what any customer could expect from a premium car sales group so for those who live in the Malahide/Portmarnock area like me please avoid if you possibly can or try and take your business elsewhere if you want to have a speedy resolution.
