Merc C-Class C220 D AMG Line - Auto

My wife's X5 was diagnosed by my local mechanic with a worn / noisy timing chain,requiring an engine out overhaul - and so he recommended a specialist he previously used. I phoned CMC & explained what the issue appeared to be, who promptly provided me with a quote and an available date, should I choose to proceed. I agreed to go ahead. Marc kindly dropped me to the train station and they began work on a Monday. Thursday afternoon they phoned me - informing me the car was repaired and ready to collect, fitted with a full new timing chain kit inc sprockets. I collected the car Friday morning and Marc not only went through what was done, he also sent me photographs via Whatsapp showing me the worn items (chain guides & sprockets) in my engine. He explained how they also removed, inspected and cleaned out the oil pump to ensure there was no residual debris. The price quoted was the price I paid, the turnaround time was excellent and the attention to detail including a follow up call from the owner was impressive to say the least. They gave the car a inspection while in their workshop and noted there was some play in the front ball joints that should be tended to in the future - but no pressure was put on me to have it done while the car was onsite or even with them. They also noted a driver airbag recall that would be done free of charge by my local BMW dealer. All in all - I was very happy with the high level of service I personally experienced with CMC and would definetly recommend Marc and his team. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish Marc being there to answer every question and sort any issues I had with navigating finance even while on holidays and it definitely runs in the family his dad Liam was an absolute pleasure to deal with meeting me after hours not once but twice I would highly recommend this garage to anyone and will be going back in years to come the car was exactly as described I couldn’t be happier all thanks to Clondrinagh Motor Centre very good value too 🫶

I recently had my BMW G11 730d in with Marc at Clondrinagh Motor Centre and I genuinely couldn’t recommend him highly enough. I actually bought my BMW E92 from Marc recently, and the whole process from start to finish was seamless — straightforward, honest and no hassle at all. That experience alone gave me the confidence to bring my G11 back to him when it needed work. The car had a number of issues including suspension faults, coolant leak, battery faults and a few other bits that needed proper attention. From the very first conversation, Marc was honest, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. The level of work carried out was top class. The car has been completely transformed — it genuinely drives like a brand new car again. Everything was sorted properly, not just patched up, which is exactly what you want with a car like this. What really stood out was the professionalism and service. The car was delivered back to me, communication was spot on throughout, and you can tell straight away you’re dealing with someone who knows BMWs inside out and takes pride in what they do. It’s hard to find a garage you can fully trust, especially with higher-end cars, but Marc is the real deal. I’ll definitely be going back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
