Bought an EV recently from Windsor and found the whole process to be really easy. Gerry was really helpful and walked me the whole way through it. Also really loving the new car.

Edit: Since leaving this review Windsor has reached out to me to apologise for my poor experience. The apology felt genuine and they offered compensation to make up for it. They did not ask me to change my review but I'm happy with the resolution. I will leave my original review below unchanged. Original review (2/5 star): My partner and I recently bought a brand new Mazda from Windsor Motors Galway. While we love the car, our experience with this dealership has not been great. The first issue we faced before picking up the car was a lack of communication and great difficulty getting anyone on the phone. There were days we called more than 10 times before getting an answer. This was especially irritating because we were told to pick the car up on a Monday and had booked the day off work. Just as we were about to leave, we thought to ring and check if it was ready. Good thing we did, because we were told to come on a later day. This happened twice, wasting huge amounts of our time and disrupting our work schedules. Next, when we went into the dealership to pick up the car, the person handling financing gave us incorrect information about the contract we were signing. He specifically told us that signing an optional part of the contract would give us the right to withdraw within one week. In reality, that clause did the opposite, had we signed it, we would have waived our right to withdraw. Read your contract carefully with these guys, they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Lastly, when we ordered the car, we told the dealership months in advance which addons we wanted. When we picked up the car, the addons were missing, and the dealership said they had to order them. It took nearly three months and two return visits before they were finally applied. TLDR: Staff are friendly, but they lack knowledge and are very disorganised.
