Volvo V70 2010

For sale: my good old brick – Volvo V70 2.0 petrol w/ timing chain (no belt) I’m the 2nd owner, had it for 7 years. Bought at 120k km, now at ~240k km. Selling only because I downsized to a Volvo V40 (driving mostly city and by myself). I genuinely miss the size and comfort. Car has travelled across Europe many times and has been rock solid. Negatives: Road tax €1,250/year (painful, yes - but reflected in low price). It may suit someone who needs a car which will not need any work. There is a long dent/scratch on left side (see photos). I didn’t repair it as its purely cosmetic and expensive. Headlight washers disabled. Most likely need cleaning. Happened just before the NCT so just left them disabled. That’s it. Positives: Ready to drive: The car needs absolutely nothing. Just passed NCT. Just serviced at 240k - Oil/filters/checks Very good tyres with plenty of thread left (Hankook Ventus Prime 4). Swap front/rear and you easily get 1–2 more years. Extremaly comfortable leather seats - did 1,200–1,300 km per day trips with zero back pain. Safety: It’s a Volvo. Ideal family car. Reliable engine: Simple 2.0 petrol, no turbo, timing chain. Well maintained: Serviced every 8-10k using Liqui Moly (Volvo spec) and quality parts. Here’s what’s been done during my ownership: All Tyres changed (~210k) New shocks (Bilstein front, Sachs rear) (~160k) Clutch & dual mass flywheel done (~210k km) All suspension issues addressed Brakes fully replaced (pads likely will need change in next 10–20k). Brakes are excellent. AC compressor replaced (~200,000 km) Long story short - I won’t claim nothing will ever go wrong as it’s a 16‑year‑old car - but I’m not aware of any issues at all. Equipment & Features Full leather interior, AC, Cruise control, Rain sensor, Rear parking sensors, Powered tailgate (remote), Electric windows/mirrors, DTC, Trip computer This is a big, solid, safe and comfortable car that has been well looked after.
