Subtitles: On the obverse there is the coat of arms of the Free City of Gdańsk, and on the reverse the denomination "10" and the inscriptions "Pfennige," "Freie Stadt" and "Danzig." Output: 5,000,000 units. History: The Free City of Gdańsk existed in the interwar period, under the protection of the League of Nations. It was created under the Treaty of Versailles after World War I, separating Gdańsk from the German Reich. The coin was withdrawn from circulation on October 1, 1932.
