Henry Alken, a renowned 19th-century English artist known for his equestrian and sporting art. The print depicts riders and hounds engaged in a chase across a wooded landscape. It is part of a set of 4 plate19th-century hand-coloured hunting prints.  Henry Alken (1785-1851) is highly sought after by collectors for his depictions of early equestrian scenes and country sporting life.  These prints are framed under glass with a black and gilt Eloise border. Dated 28/Feb/1837.
