Antique Nepalese Phurba - Authentic Shaman's Tool

Reposting this after having second thoughts about selling it! Authentic Shaman's Phurba from Nepal. This is the original magic wand. It sas a wonderful energy - as is useful for energetic support in meditation, protection against malign energies and for use in healing practices. This Phurba is about 35.5 cm (14") long I teach meditation and bought this piece from a dealer after looking at many other phurbas on offer - most of which seemed more designed for the tourist trade than actual use. This one is a real, working instrument. It features the traditional iconography, and is carved of wood inserted into an iron sheath which forms a spiked tip.(see 4th photo for description of carving) This phurba features a Snow Leopard at the tip of the pommel (that is not a house cat!). Wonderful naive carving speaks to the honesty of this instrument. Hard to ascertain age, but appears to be earlier last century or perhaps even the 1800's. I was told it was older than this when I bought it, but that is not my assessment. My research leads me to believe it may have been made early last century. The wear certainly speaks to both its age and its ritual use.
