Basket Joe Hogan Vintage Skib

Stunning vintage Joe Hogan Skib basket that I bought in the 1980's. It is a large Skib, 20 inches across at it widest and 4 inches high and 18 inches across the widest part at the lip of the basket. Woven coloured banding makes this a very attractive and collectible item. Joe Hogan has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the President of Ireland and many other awards for his amazing work. I am downsizing and I am reluctantly letting this beauty go for sale. Joe does make many of these any more and I have seen similar sizes for sale at €137. I displayed the Skib in a dark north facing room, so the colours are still very good and the basket weaving is still very tight, as you would expect from a master weaver.
