Card Table

A multi-purpose light mahogany retro table comprises a solid wood base box with holes at each corner to hold the legs with wing nuts. These legs have different height adjustments and fit inside the table for storage. The table base can be used with the wooden surface showing as an occasional table, the opposite side has green felt for playing cards or games. Another board (made slightly smaller than the top one so that all fit into the base below the top board) has red leather on one side and an inlaid chess/draughts board game top on the other side. Two small arms in the box can be raised to become a sloped writing desk or drawing easel. Table surface 20.5” X 20.5" (52 X 52cms) Min height 21" (54cms) Max height 26" (66cms - extendable legs). The table is c.70 years old and is in very good original condition. Reconditioned in 2008 by J. Smith Studios (Cabinet Makers & Designers), Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin and has not been used since.
