Chinese snuff bottle

This Chinese snuff bottle features an intricately painted bird motif on the inside and is sealed with a green stopper. The bottle is housed in a decorative, padded box with a traditional Chinese fabric pattern on the outside. The box features a paper label with Chinese characters describing the contents or the item's origin. The depicted bird on a branch motif and calligraphy are painted on the inside of the bottle using special, curved brushes inserted through the narrow neck. : The bottle is fitted with a stopper made of jade or another green semi-precious stone imitating jade.
