First Edition in the Kingdom of Kerry

Very rare book Hard cover ( In the Kingdom of Kerry Richard Hayward). Printed by W. Tempest Dundalgan Press 1950. 350 pages including index, pages are in excellent condition with a few illustrations of different parts of kerry. Cover is grey board with green cloth spine and gilt gold lettering.Attached to the back cover is a small pocket that contains a beautiful map of Kerry based on the ordinance survey by permission of the minister of finance. The map folds to be stored in the pocket, map has no tears just a showing signs age with a little yellowing on the part thats just outside the pocket but otherwise perfect. The board on front and back has a couple of marks nothing major especially with the age (75 years )inside pages are perfect no dog ears. Measurements the book is 9 inches tall x 6 inches wide. The map is 20 and a half inches x 16 and a half inches , it folds to 4 and a half inches x 8 and a quarter inches to fit in the pocket. Collection in Dublin Or Dundalk postage will be extra.
