Signed copy of The Good Friday Agreement

In 1998 - after nearly two years of talks and 30 years of conflict - the Good Friday Agreement was signed. This resulted in a new government being formed that would see power being shared between Unionists and Nationalists. Amongst the signatories are Tony Blair, Bertie Ahern, Mo Mowlam, George Mitchell, Martin McGuinness and David Trimble. The journalist, Justine McCarthy, organised a signing of the cover of the final published Good Friday Agreement by all the major participants, the original of which was sold at a charity auction. The original was purchased by IAWS which produced a limited quantity of these facsimiles. This is one of those copies. It is framed and ready to hang. Normally sells at auction for up to €400.
