We bought both a new and used car from Fergus at Deerpark motors and we left feeling that we had been given a great deal that gave us exactly what we where looking for. The service side we used for normal yearly service, NCT pre checks and breakdown was handled fantastically by Brian (give that man a raise) and his team. Nothing was too much trouble and the pricing was really good. Deerpark Motors, 10/10 would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience dealing with Fergus to trade in our old car and buy a year old Dacia. Service was superb with the new car driven to meet us in Carrigaline by Cathal who then took the time to walk us through every aspect of our new car. Car arrived spotless, couldn't recommend more.

I visited Deerpark Motors in Charleville seeking a wiper motor for my 2019 Dacia Duster. My local dealer was farther away, so I hoped to support a more local business. Unfortunately, the experience was the opposite of helpful.

1. Exorbitant Pricing: The only option presented was a complete assembly for nearly €400. For a single wiper motor, this price is unreasonable and feels like being taken advantage of.

2. Deliberately Withholding Information: When I politely asked for the official part number so I could understand exactly what was being quoted, the staff member refused to provide it. He offered no valid reason. In contrast, main dealers (like Dacia Cork) understand that providing a part number is basic customer assistance. Here, it was treated as proprietary information to force a sale.

3. Unnecessary Interrogation: I was asked, pointedly, if I had purchased the car from them—implying that service might be conditional on being an existing customer. For a simple parts inquiry, this is irrelevant and creates a hostile, unwelcoming atmosphere.

Conclusion: This branch appears solely focused on extracting maximum profit from each interaction, with zero interest in genuine customer service. They were useless unless I was willing to immediately pay their inflated price. Their attitude suggests they need every sale to "meet their bonuses," as you put it, rather than building trust.

Advice to Others: For fair prices, transparent information, and actual help, drive the extra distance to an official main dealer or seek out an independent specialist. Do not waste your time here unless you enjoy being treated with suspicion and pressured into overpaying.
