Had an incredible experience at T Kenny Car Sales! I dealt with Feargal and ended up buying a beautiful car which I love! They have such a great variety of mid range to luxury cars in the lot to choose from. They are fair, trustworthy and cars come with warranty! I highly recommend!

Bought a Hyundai Tucson from this garage back in July/ August, and I did not have a positive experience.

A basic mechanical check of the car was not done. When I picked up the car, the wing mirror was still broken. I only noticed when I got home that one of the parking sensors was missing, and the passenger side window button did not work.

In fairness to them, they posted me the parts and later refunded me the money I had spent on getting them sorted by a local mechanic.

Next issue, the car ran out of motor oil after a short period of driving. I suspect that they forgot to have the car serviced. The clutch pedal creaked whenever you lifted your foot to release. I was asked to bring the car back down to Wexford to have their mechanic look at it, and the offer to reimburse me for the work I had done was made. I told them that I would need the car back by a specific day next week, as my wife was giving birth and I could not be gone long, considering it is a 4 hour round trip. They gave me a courtesy car due to this, another good point for them.

The day before I am to collect it, I text the salesperson I have been dealing with, but I end up having to call several different numbers. I got through to the owner, Tom, who bluntly and rudely told me that the car was not ready and would not be ready for another week, as they were waiting on a part.

Due to this, I then had to drive a 4 hour round trip, leaving my wife at home with a newborn baby. Both dropping the car down to be repaired and collecting the car, I never spoke to anyone in person from T Kenny Car Sales; both times, the key was on the wheel.

I sent my IBAN on November 4th, and after texting them multiple times, I was only told that I had missed the leading “I” on November 20th.

The clutch on the car still has the same creak despite them saying that a “new clutch kit had gone into it”. I have spoken to several people about this, and the general consensus is that I am being fobbed off. This is something I will have to have my local mechanic look at now.

I would avoid T Kenny Car Sales.
