As a first time buyer I had no idea what I was even looking for. Came across ascot motors on done deal and couldn’t have been more blessed.

I ended up going with a toyota Vitz which they totally did up. New 9” screen new tires full service. Every single worker went out of their way to help me.

Warning to anyone considering buying from Ascot Motor Company: the white Suzuki swift I purchased from them in November, which suffered a gearbox failure and was confirmed as unable to be repaired, is still being advertised for sale on their website. The reg of the car is 132-D-27216.

After the engine broke while being driven to Cork, I returned it and was told it would be fixed and that I’d receive a replacement car in the meantime. I was later informed it couldn’t be repaired and it was never returned to me, leaving me with a car I did not initially want.

Very disappointing and unprofessional handling of the situation. I would not want someone to buy the car that is STILL on sale only to be left with the same disappointment I was left with.
