Buying a car has never been easier! I visited Blackpool Auto Centre 3 years ago and met Fergus. The very same day, I drove away with a lovely Škoda Superb. Fergus made the entire experience effortless and was incredibly friendly and professional.

Firstly, the owner tampered with the odometer. It's a serious issue.

Before buying the car from this dealer, I purchased an Irish car history report. It indicated about 50K KM, exactly matching the odometer reading, so I initially believed the mileage was genuine.

However, after buying this car, I became concerned and decided to purchase an additional history report from Japan through carvx.jp (because this car was imported from Japan). This revealed that the vehicle’s actual mileage was over 70K KM!!!

I strongly recommend anyone considering buying a Japanese-imported second-hand car to purchase a Japanese car history report in addition to the Irish report. Although this might cost you a few dozen euros, it’s absolutely worth it!

Secondly, the dealer provided very poor service regarding the logbook.

Normally, I should have received my new logbook within 1 or 2 weeks after purchasing the car. However, after 3 weeks, I still hadn't received anything, and there was no update on motortax.ie. I contacted the dealer, expressing my concern that he might have forgotten to update my logbook information, and asked him to provide proof that the update had been processed.

The dealer responded impatiently, refusing to provide any proof and stating that it wasn't his responsibility.

Five weeks after buying the car, I still hadn't received my logbook. This made me anxious every day because without the logbook, I was unable to drive my car at all!

I eventually returned to the dealership in person to seek help again. Interestingly, when I checked the Motor Tax website the following day, the information had finally been updated.

Therefore, I reasonably believe that the dealer hadn't processed my logbook application at all until my second visit. Not being able to drive my car for five weeks was extremely frustrating and stressful.

I bought Toyota Yaris 2010 car from this autocentre and paid full 5k . The car was to be dropped at Blarney NCT centre that evening of purchase and I was to collect it from there. I was told car will be dropped in half and hour and no sign of it till 7pm. It was dark when the car was collected and its next morning i noticed clearly what was done to the car I was absolutely disappointed that the car when I viewed in the centre had original Toyota Alloy wheels and the Boot hood both were take off when delivered infact looks like they gave me a different car altogether with same colour. They put it cheap scratched wheel hubs . It was so wrong to do this to me when I paid full amount upfront. Is it the owner or the employee who delivered the car did this behind owners back I don't know but it's so wrong to cheat people. My son had worked so hard to put this money aside to buy his first car. We are heartbroken with this experience not right to do this.Will never again buy or recommend Blackpool autocentre.  Simi

This van today got a new timing belt and service. Its also undergoing a new CVR test so will be sold with a new test. Comes very good tyres, van ply lined in the back and is a very nice van to drive. Make a fantastic van for a tradesman.  Air bags, Central locking, Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), Power steering, Traction control (ASR)
