2010 Mazda6 2.2 Sport 180PS

Putting my much loved 2010 Mazda 6 2.2d Sport up for sale for spares or repair due to an undiagnosed engine fault that may or may not require a replacement or rebuild. This car has been a revelation throughout my 8 years of ownership combining sleek and sporty looks with excellent handling characteristics and practicality. It proved to be an effortlessly fast but economical cruiser whilst transporting me in luxurious comfort on my weekly 540km commute, and featured regularly on the Mazda 6 owners club Facebook group page. The smooth and powerful 2.2l diesel engine was rebuilt at 90'000 miles during my ownership due to the well known injector seal failure, and was since maintained under a strict regime of oil changes every 5'000 miles and injector seal replacements every 15'000 miles up until the most recent failure. The car is on its original (well minded) clutch and not long prior to parking it up had recieved a full brake refurb comprising of Brembo discs up front and new calipers and discs on the rear. The bodywork is all original and presents in very good condition for its age albeit with some stone chips present around the bonnet area. The wheels are original and in reasonable condition although they could do with a refurb to return them to their best and are fitted with an almost new set of Nexen Nfera Sport tyres. The interior is like new with heated part leather seats, full BOSE stereo (with refurbished amp - another weak point on these) and replacement Mazda OEM floor mats. The car comes with a removable towbar (and 2 locking keys) as well as a set of near perfect Thule Edge wingbars thrown in if the full asking price is met.
