June 2023 myself and my partner spent €18,751 on a 201Citreon Berlingo Van.
Van was only 2.5years old at the time.
Gauranteed fully serviced and timing belt was done ect.
3weeks after we bought the van, the entire van shutdown on the main road, we had to get the van centre to pick up the van and 'fix it' they told us it was just an adblue sensor problem.
In the following 2 months after the problem popped up again and again. On the 3rd visit we were fully assured the problem fully fixed and we wont have anymore issues and a full service was done by their very own cowboy mechanic.
We took their word for it on the knowledge we could return if the issue showed up again.
In 12 months we received no adblue sensor notifications and the adblue had not reduced at all, redflag!
We booked the van in for its annual full service appointment.
Van was brought to a legit Citreon dealership.we got a phone call half way through the service they prepared us for  all the problems timing belt, timing chain, cam box, head gasket, engine cylinders.
€3,800 to fix.
We were told that the issues we were having prior were never fixed and just bypassed and sensors turned off this being left had such a bad knock on effect had completely ruined the engine and thats why we are here now in such a bad state.
Never have i ever had such a bad experience, all i can do is warn others to stay away, so you dont have to go through what me and my partner have suffered.
If the centre replies saying this is not genuine customer review and gives some bull response which is seen on other reviews. We have the reciepts posted to prove the work ive had to pay out for only a year later from the time the van centres mechanic touched the van. I have the documentation to prove everything. We are warning you all to stay away from this place.
