These guys definitely deserve a shout out. I sent in my old vj38 turbo for a hybrid conversion and the turbo I received back is absolutely PUMPING! You must be patient as they are very busy, but your patience is rewarded. The turbo came back beautifully cleaned, restored and rebuilt, very professional, packaged professionally as well which means they take their craft seriously. After remapping my ECU for the hybrid Iv driven a few hundred kms already, BIG difference, the boost is magnificent, it sounds like an International on steroids. Chris is an automotive artisan no doubt, this will be my go to turbo team from now on. Honestly I wish I did this sooner. Thanks Werner, Busi, Richard, Chris and the team, I appreciate your great customer service and stellar work.

Coming from a company (Dastek) for strives to give customer service it is always a pleasure to deal with you. Great communication, fast service and affordable prices.

Not happy with their service, i send photos of the parts wanted and i receive a quote for it and they confirm that they have stock. I drive a 300km round trip just to be given something that looks totally different to what i send to them and in photo form. There was no help offered to even see if they can assist to get the correct parts. I thought that they would at least do that as they did supply the original parts i needed now again. But instead let me show you out the door, that is it. Real bad service.

I recently came across TurboDirect S.A on Youtube and began engaging in the comments section of a video comparing BorgWarner and Garrett turbos (video titled: "BorgWarner EFR8474 Vs Garrett G35-1050"). I soon noticed that Chris began moderating my comments (he was reading them but not allowing them to be posted for others to see) that disproved his claims of Garrett G series tech being 'over-rated'.

Every time I posted a comment that linked to other videos showing Garrett turbos making more power than what he claimed possible I noticed those comments were not visible by others (because he was moderating)- yet he continued to egg me on for a few days asking me multiple times to provide proof of my claims (pretending he wasn't seeing my replies)- I guess this was his attempt to 'mess' with me all because I had real world data that went against his claims.

The icing on the cake, however, is that he then used other fake accounts to reply directly to me in the same comment thread- here is one of those comments:

"900HP EVO - cute. I bet you didnt know that Turbodirects mustang is the only promod car in Africa that ran a 6sec - but i bet you have a comment for us about your 900hp little car which can probably not run any better than 11 on the strip. You dont know much about what you like to comment on its clear."

I guess Chris wasn't smart enough to realize that anyone familiar with Youtube would know that it's HIGHLY improbable for multiple accounts start replying to an individual in the comments section of an 8 month old video with less than 9,000 views all at the same time.

Overall I found this dishonest and manipulative behavior to be disturbing and would encourage anyone thinking of doing business with someone like this to proceed with caution.
