The painting itself is in superb condition with no damage to the canvas whatsoever. The solid wood frame is in excellent condition. The painting portrays a very handsome tiger hunting in the forest. The expression on the tiger's face is superbly portrayed. I particularly love the texture of the fur, the whiskers and the tiger's eyes. The colours of the tiger are beautiful. The impressionist brushwork is excellent, with the tiger taking centre stage in the painting. The painting is clearly signed by the artist to the lower right.
