Vintage Print “The House of Cards”

Well framed and glazed, this a delightful print from the picture by Walter Osborne from the early 1900s. In the post Impressionist style, a lovely scene by the Irish artist of little girls in natural poses and dress whiling away a dull afternoon in play and chat. A far cry from the overdressed and over clean and over fed children of Victorian times, these girls have loose hair, loose clothes and very poor posture! Very relatable! 75 x 64 cm
