Free range Duroc Pig Meat (hams & meat boxes)

Duroc pigs are happiest in a woodland environment and our free range piggies are always free to root, dig, run and play! They’ve spent time eating lots of grass, herbs, flowers, berries and whatever our wooded area outside Athenry in County Galway has to offer! Their diet is supplemented with locally sourced rolled barley & oats, crunchy maize which are all soaked for 12hrs plus and a certified balanced ration to ensure that their nutritional needs are met. They’ve also been fed boiled potatoes and other vegetables from our organic vegetable garden. They have been raised with zero chemicals or antibiotics. For shelter, they are free to use our cosy straw bedded pig ark though you’ll just often see them fast asleep in the sun or in the taking shade during the warmer days! Duroc are renowned for superbly rich, succulent and delicious quality pork. Our piggies have been treated like royalty as we know what they’ve been fed and how they’ve been treated. We’re now taking orders for Xmas hams, meat boxes for a Kamado bbq or even something in between, please PM me directly for enquiries. All meat is freezer ready. There is simply no comparison between a supermarket piece of pork and these types of pork cuts!
